RIP Big, my 15″ MacBook Pro

Opening "Big" for the first time
RIP "Big,"age 1.5 years, beloved Macbook Pro.
Big passed on Christmas morning of natural causes- a logic board failure. He was prounounced dead today, December 28, 2009, at approximately 3pm by local physician Trey Torrence, employee at Mac Consulting Group.
Big will be remembered by those who knew him by his outstanding looks and the things that he produced. Big enjoyed working long hours in his Photoshop lab as an illustrator. He was also an avid dreamweaver. He didn't much like working with windows as he preferred his own native workspace, known to him as "the Mac side." However, it was sometimes necessary to work with windows, as his education required him to use AutoCAD. A few of the projects that Big worked on can be found here.
He was preceded in death by Acer, an older laptop. Big was survived by Phillip "Phil," the iPod Touch.

project1eight - Don't Judge, Invite! from Jeremy Bunner on Vimeo.
I found a video online that talked about not judging people based on what they looked like. I took this idea and turned it into a promotional video for project1eight, a campus ministry at LSU. I shot all of the video on campus with a Canon Rebel T1i (500D) and edited it in iMovie. The two songs played are Desolate Earth by UnderOath and Hero by Skillet.
erm..a quick note
I am in the process of finding a new theme, one that works better for photos (and still looks nice). With that being said, please excuse me if things overlap and/or look funky.
If you know of a good photoblog theme, feel free to leave the URL in a comment!
DIY: Burn an iso to disk on a Mac
I have been having my MacBook Pro for about a year now and I have burned several CDs and DVDs using the superdrive. However, every time, I have to look up how to do it. This may seem like a simple task for advanced Mac users, but oh well. Anyway, here's how:
- Insert a blank disk. This can be a DVD or CD depending on the size of your iso.
- Find a .iso file (I can only assume that you acquired this legally).

This is what a .iso file looks like
- Open "Disk Utility." (cmd+space, type "disk utility" and it should come up)

Easy as pie
- Click File, and then "Open Disk Image."Find your .iso file and click "open."

File >> Open Disk Image
- It will appear in the left-hand column. Click on the first one, and then click the "burn" button.

select the .iso and click burn
And that should be it!
Problems with Evelyn (AKA brnetinho)
As most of you know, I sold my camera on eBay. The auction ended on Monday, July 20th. The winner, brnetinho, did not 'pay' me until Wednesday and urged me to ship it ASAP because she was going on a trip to Brazil. Any by pay, I mean she sent the payment to PayPal, who put it on "hold" until the buyer either marks the item as received or leaves me positive feedback. So, without receiving a penny from anyone, I sent the camera, along with all of the accessories, to her address (in Arizona). I expected her to receive the package and leave me feedback, and then I can get my money. But noooooooooooo that wasn't even close to the end of it.
The next thing I know, I got this message from Evelyn:
Hi there you will have to refund my money!!
this camera have a problem and you did not have note it on the item description, After you take a picture it will apear a black line flashing on the picture.
please contact me to resolve this problem, or I will open a claim on paypal to get my money back and leave a negative feedback.
Joe Jonas dances to Beyonce’s “Single Ladies”
One, I cannot believe I'm blogging about The Jonas Brothers. Two, this video is rediculous. To promote their upcoming album "Lines, Vines, and Trying Times," Joe Jonas shows the world his dance moves in this YouTube video:
