My Life be like….
SUPER busy. We have a project due in less than a week. That means crunch time. I don't time to write a full blog, but here's a quickie...
I have a checklist of things that I need to do with my board (presentation board, 30" tall, 80" long). Here it is:
- add shadow to drawings
- label wall sections
- draw new wall section (of picnic area)
- add handrails to all drawings
- make an actual roof plan (aerial view)
- fix shingles & plywood in wall section
- fix lineweight on site plans
- finish long section
- finish sketchup model & render
- fis transverse section (man, window, hatch)
- make leed boxes
- correct roof thickness on all drawings
- put north arrows on all plans
- line weight on wall (window) section
- get material swatch finished
- label small site plan (woodlands, savanna, etc)
- floorplan: fix doors, plumbing LW, handrails, counters in kitchen, shelves in library, section/elevation markers.
So yep, I have my work cut out for me. Here's a preview of my board (zoomed way out).
quick update of my life…
Hmmmm a real blog. I've been supser busy lately. And by super, I mean really really busy. On Sunday Tuesday and Thursday nights I've been averaging like 3 hours of sleep.
That's because we have crap due on MWFs and I have to stay up late doing them. Oh well...it's worth it - I'm really happy with my model (and so is my professor, I think).
Right now I should be studying for midterms - I have materials tomorrow and history on Friday. On top of that, I have my studio project (the visitors center) due on the 23rd. Hopefully things will smooth out by then - just in time for my birthday! 21! finally..I'll be an adult.
On a different topic, I have decided to stay in baton rouge this summer and take summer classes. I will be getting an apartment with Josh (and maybe his brother) right off of LSU's campus! I'm very excited ![]()
Ok, that's all for now, let me get bAck to studying!
Birthday Wishes
I'm turning 21 pretty soon..yippee!! My 20th year of living has been alright, I suppose. I can't really think of anything life-changing that has happened to me though. Well, I bought my new camera...I guess that's pretty big.
But overall, this year has been pretty boring.
I guess the point of this entry is this: my mom asked me what I want for my birthday and I didn't really know what to say. After a little thinking about what things are absent from my life (or what could use upgrading), I have compiled the following as my "birthday wishlist:"
- decent earbuds - like these or these
- Over-ear headphones - preferably these
- Replacement battery for my laptop (15" macbook pro, ~1 year old) - the apple store
- Some new chucks (low tops) - (not the white ones - I found out the hard way that they get dirty pretty easily haha)
- a new lens (i already have 18-55mm, so something higher plz) - like this
- a better lens cleaning kit - like this
- a lens filter kit - like this (plus, it has a macro lens bundled in with it)
- a big 24" monitor - like this, unless you can find a better deal
- a sturdy tripod (my cheapo one broke) - like this <-- this looks cool
A lot of the items listed above are a stretch, but whatever. It's a wishlist, not a list of demands. And as I've learned in my almost 21 years, you usually don't get what you wish for.
So there you have it. From these item, you ought to be able to come up with SOME kind of gift ideas ![]()
And as always, cash (or checks) are always welcome lol
Cheers,
Jeremy
*edit* I will be adding more stuff to this list as I think of it, so check back frequently (lol)
Cleaning Carly
Today I cleaned my car (Carly) for the first time in a long time. So today, I woke up, went to the bank, came back, and gave Carly a good ol bath. I haven't washed my car since the middle of the summer sometime (I don't remember the exact date) so she was getting pretty dirty.
So I gave her a good cleaning, inside and out, and this is what she looked like after!
